It is not to often you see a completely new concept in sex toys for men, after all, how many variations of a vagina, anus or mouth can sex toy companies make? It’s not easy, but Fun Factory out of Germany is giving it their best shot with the introduction of the Cobra Libre.

The question of course, is it any good? This depends a lot on what kind of stimulation you like and the type of sex toy or masturbator you think feels best. In my opinion, the Cobra Libre will only satisfy a small group of men…

Like most Fun Factory sex toys, the Cobra Libre is well made and of course uses quality plastic and silicone. I feel the electronics are average. The design is a whole other matter and will leave many men wanting more from the Cobra Libre.

If you like vibration on the head of your penis, the Cobra Libre might just become your favorite sex toy. In this respect the Cobra Libre delivers as promised – this is a sex toy designed to stimulate the head and upper shaft of the penis, but that is all. Unlike most fake vaginas or say the Fleshlight, you cannot insert the full length of your penis into the Cobra (even if you have a short penis). In fact, even the Tenga allows much deeper penetration so do not expect that kind of pleasure from the Cobra Libre.

What I Like:

Good quality as can be expected from German company Fun Factory. Unique design and intense vibration (only for a short time for me though). Hygienic material. No batteries required, it is rechargeable.

What I don’t Like:

For prolonged use, it is too much vibration for me, and no ability to thrust! Short shaft does not allow for full insertion and does not hug your shaft like you might expect – or wish. Controls can be difficult to adjust during use. The shaft has no texture and is not as soft as most insertion type of sex toys. This is not a sex toy that is likely bring you to climax on it’s own – you will need to finish up with your hand or other device – or a partner. In my opinion, it is too pricy for what it delivers (for solo use anyways).

Overall:

Personally, I prefer sex toys that mimic vaginal, anal sex or a blowjob where you can drive your pecker home when you cum, something seems to be missing when you can’t do this. If vibration is part of the sex toy it should not be overpowering – the Cobra Libre is too much for solo use!

The Cobra Libre does have it’s place in the bedroom, but not for solo use. The Cobra is ideal if you have a partner who can use it during oral sex – a little vibe, then a little head (it also is easy for your partner to adjust the intensity)… In my opinion, this is the only way you will really enjoy the Cobra Libre, and to finish up – you can cum with your partner sucking or fucking you.

I cannot recommend the Cobra Libre for solo use – not at $139. If you have a partner that would like to use this on you, go for it if you can afford it!
